  • 50 g chicken livers
  • 5 tbsp brown rice
  • 1/2 nos tomato sliced
  • 1 handful Mushroom
  • 2 nos red onions sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 3 cups water
  • Salt &pepper to taste
  • Herbs to garnish


Step 1

  • Wash and clean chicken liver. Keep aside.
    Wash and clean brown rice, mushroom, garlic and onion and keep aside.
    In a pan,heat vegetable oil.
    When itis hot, add onion and garlic. Stir fry until aroma emits.
    Then addmushroom and fry few seconds.
    Add chicken liver and fry for 1-2 minutes until the chicken liver colour turns brown.
    Finallyadd brown rice and tomato.
    Stir fryfor 1-2 minutes until all ingredients are well combined.

Step 2

  • Add water and cook in low heat for about 15 minutes until all ingredients are well cooked.
    Blend the soup   until smooth.
    If necessary add a little water (if the soup is too thick) and simmer for another few minutes.
    Add salt and pepper as per taste.
    Garnish with herbs and serve warm chicken liver and brown rice soup.

You can adjust the quantities depending on the taste.
Instead of brown rice,you can even substitute white rice.
Add more mushrooms for different taste.
