Air Fryer Roasted Potatoes Recipe
Ingredients (serves 4)
1 pound (about 2 cups) baby potatoes, washed and halved
1 tablespoon olive oil
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
½ teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)
Instructions:
Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for about 5 minutes.
Meanwhile, wash the baby potatoes thoroughly and cut them into halves. If the potatoes are larger, you may need to quarter them to ensure even cooking.
Then it is time to Season Potatoes. In a large bowl, toss the halved potatoes with olive oil until they are well coated.
Add spices including onion powder, garlic powder, dried thyme, paprika, salt, and black pepper to potatoes. Toss again to ensure even seasoning.
After that, Place the well-seasoned potatoes in the air fryer basket. Place potatoes in a single layer to ensure they are not overcrowded. Cook in batches if needed.
Cook the potatoes for 20-25 minutes at 400°F (200°C). While cooking, shake the basket halfway through. Cooking times may vary based on the size of your potatoes and the specific air fryer model.
After 20 minutes, check the potatoes for doneness. Once potatoes are done, they should be tender inside. However, they should be golden brown and crispy on the outside. If potatoes are not done yet, cook for another 5 minutes.
Once the potatoes are done, it is time to transfer them to a serving dish. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley or with your favourite garnish.
Serve the air fryer roasted potatoes hot as a delicious dish. They pair well with various dips or as a complement to your favorite main course.
Enjoy!
