Grilled Corn on the Cob on Grilling Pan

Grilled corn is delicious. While grilling is enjoyable outdoors over a grill, this is how I grill corn indoors. It is easy to use a grilling pan on the stove to make delicious grilled corn on the cob. Don’t forget that there are health benefits of grilling foods. Other than the taste, healthy benefits are another reason for me to grill corn instead of simply serving in other recipes such as boiled corn on the cob.

In this recipe, I used olive oil to brush the corn ears. But you can use butter or any suitable cooking oil instead of olive oil.

Once the Grilled Corn on the Cob ears are done and ready to serve, you can also use a topping on them to add flavour. But, I simply served it as it is with herbs sprinkled.

Though I used a grilling pan on the stove to grill the corn, you can use the same recipe to grill corn over an outdoor grill too.

You can grill pineapple too on a stove. Check this recipe for Grilled Pineapples on the Stove which I shared before.

Apply olive oil to each corn on the cob.

Now Cook the corn ears for around 10-15 minutes on the grilling pan.

Remember to turn every 2 minutes or so until the corn is charred a bit.

It is done and grilled corn on the cob is ready to serve. Sprinkle herbs and a bit of salt before you serve.

Notes:

You can use an outdoor grill for the same recipe.

A skillet is fine too to grill corn on the cob over a stove.

Apply butter or cooking oil instead of olive oil if you prefer it.

Add a dash of spice over the corn when you grill to add flavour.

You can use different toppings over corn ears when you are ready to serve or simply serve as it is.
