So you’ve tried everything to stop snoring, from snoring mouthguards to medications, but you haven’t quite found a permanent fix. This is something that many people go through and they aren’t sure where to go from there. The good news is that you can fix some meals that can help you stop snoring. Keep reading to get a few ideas!

Fish

The first meal idea is fish. One of the best types of fish for anti-snoring properties is salmon. Other fish work as well, but salmon works the best. There are quite a few ways you can prepare salmon. You can sear it, bake it, grill it, or fry it. These are just a few ways and you can make it and you can do whichever method you like the best. In addition, you can add many things to it as well. You can do something simple like salt and pepper or something more extravagant and use things like pesto or lemon wedges. Regardless of how it’s made, you’ll get the anti-snoring properties so make sure it’s made in a way you like!

Vegetables

Another type of food that works well to stop snoring are vegetables. While there are quite a few that help with this, the best one is onions. Just like the salmon, they can be prepared pretty much any way you want. If you eat them raw, you can get the properties that will help clear your nasal passages. This also works if you cook them for just a few minutes. If you want to cook them into a meal, you’ll get a lot of antioxidants. Besides eating them raw, you could also cook them into sauces or various side dishes.

Spices

Spices are another great food item that helps stop snoring. While there are many spices that do this, the best ones are spices like turmeric and cayenne pepper. Not only are many of these spices great for help reduce inflammation, but the spicier ones can help clear out your nasal passages. The great thing is that you can add the spices to literally any dish. Most of the time, spices taste good in any dish, but some meals don’t do well with certain ones. Just make sure whatever food you’re making will pair well with the spices so you don’t have to eat something you don’t like.

Fruits

It might be surprising, but there are some fruits that can also help you stop snoring. While there are quite a few, some of the most common ones are: pineapple, lemons, and oranges. The reason these help stop snoring is because they combat inflammation and make the air pass through easier. You can use them many different ways. Some people will just have a few pieces or slices after dinner as a dessert, while others will actually cook them into other meals they’re having. For instance, you could cook the pineapple with ham or the lemons with other types of meat.

Beverages

The final idea has to do with beverages. Some of the beverages that are great for anti-snoring are tea and soy milk. The soy milk helps because it doesn’t have the same properties as cow’s milk and with so many types of tea, you shouldn’t have a hard time finding one that helps. For instance, you can drink a cup of tea with some honey or lemon. They also have specific flavors or types, such as peppermint or sleepy time tea. It’s really up to you and what you prefer.

Now that you have a few ideas of meals that can help stop snoring, you can give them a try. Most of these have countless ways that they can be prepared, so you don’t have to worry about your meals getting boring. Have you tried any of these or found any other meals that work?
