Dragon fruit Smoothie

written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi August 3, 2011

Dragon fruit is a wonderful fruit which contains a lot of health benefits. It comes with three varieties. Two varieties are with red skin & red or white flesh. Other type is yellow skin with white flesh.
I found that dragon fruit is rich in antioxidants, vitamin C,B and also rich with minerals & calcium.
Here I have used the white flesh variety for my smoothie
Ingredients

1 dragon fruit, peeled and diced
1 banana
1 cup plain yogurt
1/2 cup water

Method
Blend all together in a blender.
Add ice cubes if you want it in cold.

Serve & enjoy.
(This smoothie will be colourfull if you use the red variety. But for this photos I have used the variety which inside is white, check my post Dragon fruit drink for red variety)
