Tea Review : Organic Hangzhou Tian Mu Qing Ding Green Tea

written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi June 28, 2013

Tea Review

Here is another tea review post. This is the last sample I tried from the Teavivre samples pack sent me last year. Anyway there is another sample pack on the way and I am waiting to try some another different types of tea from Teavivre.

This OrganicHangzhou Tian Mu Qing Ding Green Tea is produced in Tianmu Mountain, Lin’an County, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang, China.
Tea Review
The dry tea presents a tip and elegant shape. They are long and thin. Its colour is deep green and soft in hand. I noticed that tea leaves are with one bud with one or two leaves and it has a nice fragrance in between floral & grassy.
Tea Review
Once brewed, the tea leaves become bigger. But not much bigger as of some other tea types.
The brewed tea is light green in color with fresh and mellow flavor. I really liked the mild taste of it with good aroma. I found from Teavivre  that this tea is with low caffeine (less than 10% of a cup of coffee). So why not drink this Green tea for its health benefits or simply as a tea lover?

Ahh, the tea looks pristine from the glass.
Very nice clicks and good review!!
I’m yet to habituate myself to drink tea without milk, i’m a coffee and chai addict 🙂
