Food is the driving fuel that gets us to perform every day. It is our source of nutrition and energy but sometimes it can lead to some devastating results. The devastating symptoms that I am talking about are the common allergies that are associated with a certain food item that react oppositely to diverse people.

The most common food allergies

Here is a list of food or drink items that are subjected to allergies to many people.

1)Allergies from Shellfish

Hailing from the seafood category is one of the most commonly found allergies to adults and may lead to catastrophic results. The severeness can also be well understood that an allergic person is not even immune if he inhales the vapor of a cooking shellfish. The allergy has a lifelong effect.

2) Allergies from Fish

Fish is a widely consumed protein source. But the main problem lies with the proteins of the fish which causes allergic symptoms to many people. Consumption of fish is the main reason for fish allergies but just like its counterpart shellfish, the allergies may also get triggered by inhaling vapor from a cooked fish.

3) Allergies from Soy

One of the popular food items which are regularly used by the vegans is soy. The proteins present in the soy is the real cause of its allergies in many people. It does not have a drastic effect but still consumed in a larger quantity by an allergic person can have life-threatening consequences. Food and drinks prepared with soy should be highly avoided for an allergic person.

4) Allergies from Tree Nuts

There are a wide variety of tree nuts found all over the markets. Some of these include walnuts, almonds, pistachios to name a few. The consequences are very severe as the person suffers from more than one food item and shares common symptoms with peanut allergies. The main problem with tree nuts is that it is widely used in various places such as cereals, candies, oils, condiments to name a few. So as an allergic one has to be highly careful in choosing the products.

The allergies caused by peanuts are of very alarming nature. It is one of the most profound allergies in the world that are increasing every year. The allergy has a lifelong impact and is mainly caused by its protein and even had reports of people coming under life and death situations.

6) Allergies from Wheat

Wheat is commonly grown in every part of the world where it is consumed through various food items. But however, the protein present in wheat has resulted in allergies to some children. Since many food items such as pasta, cereals, bread to name a few are made of wheat. It should be highly avoided to a wheat allergic person.

7) Allergies from Milk

The most famous drink in the world is milk which is highly important for the nutrition and growth of every child. But however, the protein such as casein and whey have resulted in allergies in many children. In other words, those people are generally known as ” lactose intolerant”. Those people are not only allergic to milk but also its products such as butter, cheese to name a few. Products prepared with milk or its derivatives should be avoided by a milk allergic person.

8) Allergies from Egg

The egg is the most versatile and famous food product in the world. A countless number of recipes and dishes are prepared with eggs. The proteins found in the egg are the main source of allergy to most of the people. Both the egg white and the yolk can be held responsible for triggering the allergies and is highly profound in kids. Ignoring food items prepared with egg should be the only way for staying safe for an egg-allergic person.

9) Allergies from Sesame

Sesame is renowned in the culinary world as its seeds are used in the production of oils that are used in cooking and salad dressings. But however, its allergies are not very popular.

1)The major symptoms can be determined with skin reactions

2) Next it also can be diagnosed through digestive issues.

3) Breathing trouble is also a sole cause for food allergies

4) Through various kinds of eye reaction to different food allergies

5) A sudden shock felt by the body. This is known as Anaphylaxis.

Causes for these allergies

1) There may be various biological causes.

2) Environmental causes can also trigger food allergies.

3) Genetic factors also play an important part.

Safety against these food allergies

1) The packaged food label should be well checked and inspected for allergic ingredients.

2) Precautions should be taken while having a meal outside.

3) Contamination of your food with others should be strictly avoided.
