Organic Tie Guan Yin “Iron Goddess” Oolong Tea from Teavivre

written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi January 24, 2013

Tea Review

This Tea Review is about another great product from Teavivre.

Oolong Tea for weight loss
Organic Tie Guan Yin “Iron Goddess” Oolong Tea is another tea from Teavivre. The first thing I noticed is the floral aroma when opening the sample. This tea is grown and produced near Zhangzhou in Fujian, China .The appearance is like a roll. Tea leaves are Hand made into small rolls. These rolls get loosen once steeped. When brewed, it is a Pale yellow-green colored tea. As per product information, this is a low caffeine Tea (less than 10% of a cup of coffee)
weight loss tea
Before tasting this tea,I read its information and benefits through Teavivre.Tie Guan Yin tea is a slightly fermented tea which lies between Fermented Black Teas and unfermented Green and White Teas. Also it is high in amino acids, vitamins and antioxidants.
slimming tea
This Tea needs to brew with water at 212ºF (100ºC) and infuse for 1-3 minutes.
The taste of this Tea is very smooth and floral. It gives the satisfaction of a high quality tea.

We really loved this tea and it is highly recommended.
Please check Teavivre website for more information and to buy this tea.

I love green tea but dont’t think I’ve ever tried a fermented version. It looks very soothing.
