One of the best ways to connect with your little one is by baking together or cooking up some sweet sneaks in the kitchen together. There’s nothing better than working on some yummy treats because, after the work that you put into your meal or snack, you’ll be able to reap the delicious rewards. Plus, cooking or baking with your kids will set them up for when they’re older and need to fend for themselves in the kitchen. So keep reading to learn about four sweet snacks that you can make with your little one.If you want to know more recipes, then check out here and find the best recipes that your kids can cook.

1.    Chocolate Pudding

Chocolate pudding is enjoyed by both children and adults, and the great news is that it’s really easy to make, so you can definitely involve the kids when you make this tasty and very sweet snack. You can find a variety of chocolate pudding recipes easily online, but they’ll be really simple and short, and they won’t require the use of expensive kitchen equipment. Ingredients can include sugar, cornflour, cocoa powder, salt, and fresh milk from places like Creamline Dairies. If you don’t want to use a local milk delivery to get dairy milk, you can also substitute it for non-dairy milk.

2.    Pancakes

Another really simple recipe that you can complete with your kids is an easy pancake recipe. Watching the batter bubble up in the pan after helping you mix the ingredients together is fun for kids, and they can also help you create some fun shapes rather than sticking with the standard circular shape everyone is familiar with. Top these with fresh fruit, whipped cream, chocolate chips, and other treats to make them even sweeter.

3.    Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate chip cookies are the perfect cookie option for kids who are new to helping you bake. After all, what kids don’t like chocolate chip cookies? While you can certainly purchase batter at the market, it’s always more fun to make these cookies from scratch, and it isn’t complicated either. Basically all you need is some granulated and brown sugar, butter, vanilla, eggs or vegan egg substitutes, flour, baking soda and baking powder, salt, and chocolate chips. Once you have all of the ingredients combined, these cookies don’t take long to bake either, so they’re perfect for impatient little ones.

4.    Refreshing Ice Pops

Papaya-Popsicles

During the summer season, nothing beats a perfectly chilled ice pop treat that is filled with fruity flavours that are hard to resist. And, like the other recipes on this list, they are really easy to make at home by simply pouring fresh juices into moulds.

5.    Sugar Cookies

Sugar cookies are fabulous because you can bake them in really fun shapes using cookie cutters, and you can decorate them with frosting and sprinkles, so the kids can get really creative and have a lot of fun. All you need is flour, baking soda and baking powder, salt, sugar, egg, vanilla, and butter.

These easy recipes are fun to make, so your kids can join you in the kitchen to create sweet snacks that they’ll absolutely adore.
