Healthy eating is essential for any lifestyle. However due to lack of time and other reasons, most of us face difficulties to have a healthy meal every day. Today I thought of sharing few superfoods which you should add to your meal due to the amazing benefits of them.

What are superfoods?
Before reading further, it would be beneficial if I share what exactly is this term superfoods means? Simply superfoods are nutrient rich food that gives you healthy benefits.
Although there are lot of superfoods that gives amazing benefits, here I try to compile a list of 6 superfoods which are easily available for consumption.

#1.Blueberries
Blueberries are packed with anthocyanins which is an antioxidant phytonutrient. Anthocyanins have ability to neutralize free radical damage giving you more reasons to consume more blueberries.
Blueberries also help to improve memory function and it also help your skin by hydrating.
You can eat blueberries in a salad or even in a smoothie to get most of the benefits of this amazing fruit.

Apples are in the superfood list due to many reasons. These include its ability to reduce the risk of heart disease, high blood pressure and certain cancers.
Apples are rich with fiber, potassium and antioxidants such as Vitamin C and polyphenols. These are some reasons to consider the saying ;An apple a day, keeps the doctor away’.  🙂
