Hi Amila
Great post.
A very healthy drink, indeed.

I appreciate you for posting this, the drink being very healthy and natural. How about a little salt instead of sugar, so that it will appeal to people on diet, those who are calorie conscious and diabetics?

Barley is medicinal and is one of the world’s healthiest foods. It is rich in fiber and Selenium among many other important nutrients. It helps in boosting intestinal health and has cholesterol lowering properties. It is suitable for diabetics as well.

Now a days many people suffer from a lot of diseases and a considerable number are life style diseases. Our food is very important in maintaining optimal health and foods can be used for prevention as well. After all health is wealth. Try to post such healthy dishes. It is sad to see concoctions of bad oils, fats, artificial colors, sugars etc. in many popular culinary resources both online as well as offline.

Thanks a lot for visiting my blogs and for the comment as well. Please feel free to visit often and write comments.
Thanks
Rajiv
