Saucy Pasta with Sausages

Pasta Recipes

I like quick and easy recipes to cook for breakfast.This Pasta recipe is very easy and simple to cook.This can be easily packed in a meal box or as kids meal.

Easy lunch box recipes

Ingredients (for 2 servings)

Pasta enough for 2 servings(about 1 cup)
2-3 sausages
2-3 tbspn Pasta sauce or tomato sauce
1 tspn chili powder
1 tbspn black pepper sauce or crushed pepper (optional)
1 tbspn oil
Water to cook pasta
Salt 

 Method

Cook pasta as per package instructions.Drain & keep aside.
Wash & cut sausages into small pieces.
Heat oil in a pan.Then add sausages and fry well.
Once sausages are cooked,add chilli powder, tomato sauce and black pepper sauce.
Mix well.Add a pinch of salt.
Then mix cooked pasta into this saucy sausage mix.
Adjust salt if necessary. Garnish with some coriander leaves or any herbs.
Serve hot & enjoy!

Usually I cook pasta enough for 2-3 meals and pack in separate containers in the freezer.So it is quick to cook in the morning because I only need to prepare the pasta sauce.

Sausage and pasta

Add pasta & cook for about 10 minutes or according to the package details. Add some salt to the water while cooking.
Once it is cooked, drain water, and keep aside.
Heat 1 tbspn of oil in a pan.
Once it is hot, add black pepper sauce & pasta sauce (or tomato sauce).
Mix well. Once sauce is mixed well, add pasta to it.
Mix all.
Toss some spring leaves or coriander leaves for garnishing.
Serve hot.

Freezing cooked pasta in freezer is definitely a time saver. Pasta with sausage looks delicious.
