6 Items You Must Bring During a Staycation in Singapore

written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi July 29, 2022
Staycation in Singapore

Staying at a hotel may already be one of your staycation agendas, especially if you stay at a five-star hotel like Ritz Carlton Millenia.

However, there are times when the hotel facilities that you booked do not match your expectations. It could be because of a boring room layout or inadequate room facilities. It will bring your mood down during a staycation.

Hotels cannot always guarantee comfort for their guests, especially for those who are not used to staying in hotels and often miss the homey atmosphere.

Well, we need good preparation so that we are ready for all uncomfortable situations when we are at the hotel.

  1. Personal Toiletries

Bringing your own toiletries during your stay at the hotel will feel more comfortable. Although each hotel provides various room services, it turns out that getting your favorite shampoo or soap will make you feel more comfortable and raise your mood.

For that, it would be nice to bring personal toiletries such as shampoo, soap, and toothpaste when staying at a hotel. So that when you stay at the hotel, you can enjoy a comfortable staycation that feels like you are at home.

  1. Bring Your Favorite Drinks and Snacks

We often find that most hotels provide drinks and snacks in the room. However, if you bring your own food and drink menu, we guarantee it will make your staycation experience even more comfortable.

For example, sipping your favorite tea with a beautiful mug that you brought from home along with your favorite snack can really brighten up your days during a staycation.

  1. Play Favorite Song Playlist

Music is believed to be one of the most effective medicines to bring about a good state and relieve boredom or discomfort.

When you start to feel uncomfortable during a staycation, immediately play your favorite music on the Spotify playlist or the music list on your smartphone. Feel your mood will improve, and your mood will be good again.

  1. Bringing Slippers from Home

Slippers never leave the hotel room. But unfortunately, not all hotels provide hotel slippers with the best materials.

The availability of quality sandals at the hotel certainly makes you feel more comfortable, warm and protects your feet from dust and dirt.

Since you don’t always know which hotel provides slippers, you can bring your favorite slippers from home with soft materials to make you feel more comfortable.

  1. Travel Diffuser

Do you know the function of the diffuser? A travel diffuser is used to spray aromatherapy oils which can clean the air from bacteria and fungi.

Diffusers can not be separated from essential oils with various refreshing aromas that will make you feel more relaxed. Enjoy a relaxing time in your hotel room with a travel diffuser, aromatherapy, or your favorite essential oil.

  1. Swimming Equipment

In the afternoon or in the morning, you and your family can swim together or just play in the water in the afternoon or in the morning. Fun, right! Of course, overnight in a hotel with swimming pool facilities, don’t waste it.

Don’t forget to bring a bathing suit and all the equipment, such as swimming goggles, swimming bands, and armbands for children. If you want to swim all day and the pool outdoors, bring sunblock to keep your skin healthy.

Are you ready for a staycation at a star hotel like Naumi Hotel? Come on, immediately book a hotel while on vacation before it’s too late. Don’t forget to prepare the list of items above to make your staycation even more enjoyable! Don’t forget to book your favorite hotel only from Traveloka.
