Are you confused where to dine out in Pune? If yes, then check out our list to know some must try restaurants in Pune. Your restaurant choice will depend on your choice of cuisine.

The Great Kabab Factory

Fans of Indian cuisine have a wide variety to choose from in Pune. The Great Kabab Factory and Sigree are known for its kebabs and biryanis. With a luxurious ambience, these places offer great choices in Indian breads, curries, dals and desserts. Other popular dining options are Tareef in the Aundh area and Shikara for Kashmiri food.

Another place to try out is Mystic Masala which is one of the best restaurant in Pune at Vivanta by Taj – Blue Diamond which offers an array of Maharashtrian delicacies.

Chinese and Asian:

Baan Tao

Baan Tao

For the best Thai dishes, visit Baan Tao at Hyatt. You will fall in love with its papaya salad and green curry. For a variety in the East Asian dishes, go to Malaka Spice. Its kitchen brings in dishes from Vietnam, Burma, Indonesia as well as Thailand.

To try something different, you may visit Harajaku. It will give a long menu of Japanese dishes. Apart from all these, Mainland China rules for Chinese food. The peppery lemon soup here is an ideal start.

One of the finest Chinese restaurants in Pune is the Whispering Bamboo at Vivanta by Taj – Blue Diamond where you can experience a wide extensive authentic menu.

Pure Vegetarian:

If you are a bit reluctant to visit restaurants that serve mixed food, try the pure vegetarian hotels in Pune. You will get an extensive menu of Indian as well as Thai dishes at the pure vegetarian restaurant Shakahari at the new ICC Marriott Hotel. Besides, you may also try Dario’s, which serves the best pizzas and pastas in town.

Sizzlers:

Sizzler diners have recently become popular among youngsters in Pune. For this, there is Bounty at Kalyani Nagar and Zamu at Dhole Patil Road. These restaurants are ideal for intimate dinners and the food here is best enjoyed during monsoon and winter seasons.

Western Cuisine:

If you want to have some nicely plated Mediterranean dishes, go to Stone Water Grill. Other popular choices for good European food are Paprika Hot Rocks, Arthur’s Theme, The Ship and Sen5es.

Another restaurant where you can try western and international cuisine is the Buzz at The Gateway Hotel Hinjawadi Pune.

Italian:

La Terezza in the Hyatt Regency features among the best restaurants in Pune for Italian food. Other alternatives are Prego, Little Italy, and Alto Vino in ICC Marriott Hotel.

South Indian:

For a delicious South Indian meal, Pune has Vaishali, Kalyani in Kalyani Nagar and Madhuban in Dhole Patil Road.

Punjabi food:

True to its name, Mini Punjab gives a true feel of Punjab. If you are planning a visit around the Magarpatta Cyber City do try the biryani and veg chilly milly here. Other popular Punjabi restaurants are Deccan Harvest and Cocoon. Besides, Cinnamon Spice will also offer you good North Indian food along with a great ambience and soothing classical music.
