Style, Food, and Pizazz: 3 Things that Make New York the State You Want to See This Year

written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi December 9, 2017
Importance of Hospitality Software in Running a Restaurant

New York is the epicenter of the culture’s vibe – concerts, musicals, coffee shops, and busy streets. There’s so much to experience and so much to see. Whether you’re visiting along or with your friends or family, the following three reasons will make you want to plan your trip to New York as soon as possible:

Sightseeing opportunities in New York

When thinking about New York, the Statue of Liberty is the first thing that enters our minds, and it’s one of the most iconic monuments of this world, making it a must-see. It’s best to combine it with a boat trip that will truly allow you to see its stunning glory from all angles.

3 Things that Make New York the State You Want to See This Year

Then we have the Empire State Building. Have you ever wanted to see the rising sun from one of New York’s most impressive buildings? Located in central Manhattan, it allows you to see the vastness of its surroundings at a 360 degree angle.

Last but not least, there is the Top of The Rock observation point, a place from where you’ll be able to admire New York’s magnificent skyscrapers and urban architecture.

Cuisine in New York

New York is the home of various restaurants, all of which have made a name for themselves due to the mouth-watering food quality you can expect to treat yourself to, and it is bound to please all of your senses.

Artichoke Pizza, one of New York’s most famous pizza places, will charge you about five bucks for a slice of pizza, but once you’ve had the opportunity to taste it, you will see that it’s worth every penny. Then we have the sesame dumplings at Prosperity Dumpling. They taste unlike anything you’ve tasted before, and will make you want to crave for more. And the best part? The meal will set you back for less than ten bucks.

If you’re looking for something a bit more exquisite, there is My Linh, a popular Vietnamese restaurant for those who cannot resist the taste of food from abroad. And if Japanese food is more to your liking, Shogun, a Japanese restaurant, is close nearby. The TownePlace Suites Albany Medical Center ties them both together since it’s less than a mile away, providing you with a place to sleep with a full stomach until you’re ready to continue your journey.

The general atmosphere in New York

New York is the epitome of American city life. Trains, taxis, back alleys and shopping malls that are packed full of people is what’s New York city is all about. All of this cannot possibly be put into words to describe it accurately enough, and it’s best to experience it in person.

Without a shred of doubt, though, New York is as legitimate as it gets in every meaning of the word, and it will sort of make you feel like you’re part of something bigger.

Conclusion

New York is the sweet spot between the western culture you’re probably well familiar with, and the subtle differences that come in various forms (good food, sightseeing opportunities, and the general atmosphere). All of this makes it well worth visiting at least once in your life.
