Peanut Butter Pinwheels

written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi December 6, 2012
Peanut Butter Pinwheels
I recently made this Peanut Butter Pinwheels. Actually I found the recipe from bigredkitchen.com .The taste is so yummy & so sweet, but addictive. I am not a huge fan of sweet things. My friends know, I rarely eat toffees, candy etc. BUT,I loved this. I couldn’t stop eating them. If you are a fan of Peanut Butter, I am sure you would love this candy.

Here is the recipe for Peanut Butter Pinwheels. Also check this homemade Marshmallow Recipe with two tones.

Recipe : Peanut Butter Pinwheels

Peanut Butter Pinwheels
Ingredients
1 cup powdered sugar
1/2 cup softened butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
4-5 tbspn  peanut butter
Method

In mixing bowl, combine powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla until form into dough. If need, add more powdered sugar to prevent sticking. Keep in refrigerator for about 10 minutes to prevent sticking.

After chilling, flatten the dough on a parchment paper or polythene using the hand. Use powdered sugar to prevent sticking.
Once the dough is flattening, spread peanut butter on top of it.
Then roll the flat dough into a log
Chill for about 30 minutes. Then slice it into small bite size pieces.
Keep in the fridge until serve. For me, it is delicious when frozen.

I’m the same way – I’m not a giant sweets fan, but I do love peanut butter based desserts; maybe because peanut butter can be used in a savory or sweet application.

Amy December 13, 2012 - 11:13 am

yes,peanut butter has a different taste….
