written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi November 18, 2019
Tips For A Better Kitchen

Cooking is not all about finding a recipe and ingredients to cook your next meal. Cooking brings joy and happiness. For me sometimes it is like meditation. After a busy day, I spend time in the kitchen unwinding all my daily stress and pressures. It is also a happy place where all the family members gathered for a quick meal. Therefore I want to share these tips for a better kitchen which may help you to enjoy your daily cooking time at the kitchen area.

Therefore having a functioning kitchen is one of the secrets of better cooking. It is important to plan your kitchen with some simple improvements in order to make it a happy and efficient space for your cooking.

Tips For A Better Kitchen

If you plan buying a new home or shifting to another home, then it is easy to build up a new kitchen with your dream plan. However if you already own your kitchen, then it is not that easy to make it completely new without spending money and time. However with some renovation and arrangements you can easily convert your existing kitchen in to a functional cooking space.

Here are some of the tips for a better kitchen.

1. Include Work Triangle

Having a proper planned work triangle is important for any kitchen. Usually working triangle should include your stove or oven, refrigerator and sink. Consider placement of these 3 items in a triangular order for easy and efficient cooking.

2. Improve Kitchen Cabinets

Kitchen cabinets are not only for storing your cooking ingredients and recipe books. Cabinets add a beautiful interior to your space too. Therefore if you want a new look to your kitchen consider adding new cabinets or upgrading the existing cabinets with some designer touch. If the existing cabinets are in good condition, you can change cabinet handles for a new modern look.

Tips For A Better Kitchen

Additionally, if you’re aiming for a complete kitchen cabinet transformation, a company like Lovech offers a wide range of stylish and functional options. Look for cabinets renowned for their quality and craftsmanship, providing durable and aesthetically pleasing solutions for your kitchen storage needs. Whether you’re opting for a sleek modern design or a classic, timeless look, incorporating cabinets from a reputable brand can elevate the overall appeal of your kitchen space. Consider exploring a collection of cabinet designs to find the perfect match for your taste and kitchen decor.

 3. Don’t ignore the Kitchen Lighting

While you can add artificial lights to lighten up the kitchen it is best to attract natural light as far as possible. To create much natural light you can add window or perform window treatments. Natural light is also a good source of germ killer in your pantry area. Other than natural lights, add lighting to necessary spaces including your stove area. This step will brighten up your kitchen!

 4. Design wide walkways

When you place your kitchen island and kitchen cabinets consider the walkway space. It is necessary to have wide walkways throughout the kitchen area. To adjust your kitchen walkway you can easily adjust the kitchen island and see how it can be done.

Above are some of the things you can do to improve your kitchen. Some steps such as creating wide walkways are easy to do with few changes to the arrangements. Kitchen triangle is always important.

Once you have a neat and beautiful kitchen that functions well, cooking will be a happy and enjoyable thing that you would like to do daily.
