With the variety of mouth watering dishes in India, here are 10 street foods you should eat.

Taste “Momos”

Snack on “Dabeli”

This is a popular street food in Bangalore and Kutchh. It is a sandwich which contains spicy Indian potato mix with onion and peanut toppings. The buns are very soft, and you have different options of chutney flavours.

Feast on “Dosas”

Indian food onion dosa

These pancakes are from South India. They are savoury, crispy and satisfying. Dosas are served with a potato filling that is spicy but delicious. You have different choices of toppings like mushroom, spinach, peas, corn, cauliflower, and paneer.

Bite into “Galouti Kebabs”

These are the most famous street food in Lucknow. They are the juiciest, most tender, spicy and meaty kebabs that you will ever eat. Pieces of mince meat are spiced, then shaped into balls before being fried.

Savour “Aloo Chaat”

This is a kind of salad that is made from potatoes, drizzled with options of either, sour, sweet or spicy chutney, and fried rice noodles that are very crispy. It can be eaten for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

Slurp and Sip on “Paya Soup”

This is an excellent, non-vegetarian soup. Made from lamb trotters, Paya Soup is a delicious, thick and meaty comfort soup. You can have it sizzling hot for breakfast, lunch or dinner with buttered Naan bread.

It’s important to note that Indian foods can be very spicy. If you prefer non-spicy versions of these foods because of personal preference or any allergies, feel free to ask your vendor if they can make you a special order.
