This month is bit special to Food Corner Facebook page. because Food Corner celebrated 1stanniversary.
I am really happy with its achievements so far & on the other way I have improved my culinary skills. Before 1 year even I didn’t know many Sri Lankan recipes. I could cook a simple meal, but desserts, soups, etc etc were not in my menu. I want to thank you all for encouraging me with your comments & support. That made me more excited.
When it comes to the contest, I have already selected the theme as ‘Festive/Party food’. This is festive season with Christmas & New Year. & also I want to celebrate 1st anniversary with this contest.
Here is a brief description on how the contest runs.
For the easiness, I have provided linky tool for all submissions. BUT voting is via ‘Food corner’ Facebook page. only.

1. How to Enter:
Simply link your recipes using linky tool provided. If you encounter any problem to link, email me email@example.com or upload to Facebook page. with the caption-Food of the Month-entry
Then I will upload to the album & it will be opened for votes.(votes will be counted from the competition album only)
Theme –Festive/Party Foods
Closing date for submissions -December 28th, 2011
Album will be available for voting -December 29th,2011
Closing date of contest -December 31st,2011
Voting is via face book page, you can add ‘like’ as a vote

You can add up to 3nos of posts.
3. How to win:
The photo which gets most ‘like’s will be the ‘Food of the Month’.
We will select 5 winners from facebook page album.Also I will select the most viewed post as ‘popular post’ using this blog post.
Actually no monetary value awards yet. But you will gain publicity, recognition and excitement for your work.
