Simple food garnishing

Garnish with Cherry Tomato Flowers

written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi October 29, 2012

Cherry Tomato Flowers are easy to prepare & it is a very easy & simple garnish idea.
This can be done in few minutes without much effort.

Here are the simple steps to follow.(Garnish with Cherry Tomato Flowers)

Select few Cherry Tomatoes.
Place them on a cutting board.
Slice them until the centre; make sure not to cut until the pieces are separated.
Then slice across the tomato. Remember; do not to cut until the pieces are separated.
Now carefully open the slices converting the tomato into a flower.
Use these flowers to garnish a plate or salad with some coriander leaves, curry leaves or spinach. I used coriander leaves.
