5 Creative ideas to spicing up your cup of coffee

1.Bulletproof coffee

Ever heard of this drink? It first came out as a diet fad, with so many people attesting to its effectiveness in aiding weight loss and curbing your appetite. Bulletproof coffee is basically a coffee recipe that adds coconut oil and butter to your morning cup. The thought may be disgusting, because that’s a whole lot of fat in your cup right? But well, this ketogenic drink boasts of a ton health benefits such as better metabolism, increased focus, and weight loss. For best results, use brewed coffee, grass-fed butter, and organic coconut oil.

3. Easy peasy peppermint mocha

Oh you don’t need to wait until Christmas to enjoy peppermint flavored anything. This simple recipe will bring winter closer the moment you try it. It’s super easy. All you need is coffee (of course), hot chocolate, peppermint syrup, milk, and whipped cream. Now, just brew your favorite coffee and add peppermint syrup according to taste. Then mix in a sachet of your favorite hot chocolate and blend it in thoroughly. Top it with whipped cream, and for added sass you may even opt to crush some candy cane to drizzle on top. If you want it ice blended, go ahead and toss it in the blender with crushed ice. Either way it’ll taste amazing.

4. Coffee Punch

Coffee Punch is basically a creamy coffee ice cream drink that your guests will definitely enjoy. To do this, you first have to prepare the coffee syrup. Mix in coffee powder, sugar, and water in a small saucepan and allow it to melt and dissolve without boiling. Set aside and refrigerate the mixture, your syrup is done. Now if you’re getting ready for the party to start, ready your punch bowl and pour in all the syrup inside. Then pour an entire gallon of whole milk and stir. Then add in scoops on scoops of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Stir them in gently but be careful not mix thoroughly. Just let the ice cream sit inside the bowl and melt on its own. And voila, when your guests arrive that will be one big tempting bowl of dessert.

5. Pumpkin spiced latte

You don’t have to wait until the right season to enjoy this seasonal drink. It’s actually rather easy to create your own at home. As usual you would need brewed coffee (double strength this time), vanilla extract, pumpkin pie spice, milk, sugar, and whipped cream. Now all you need to do is to blend them all in (except for the whipped cream) until frothy. Pour into your favorite mug then top it with whipped cream and a dash of pumpkin pie spice. Now, that wasn’t so hard, right?
