Review-Vegetarian Quick & Easy – Under 15 Minutes’ by Jonathan Vine

written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi July 25, 2014

If you are a vegetarian or even if you like to add more vegetarian dishes to the meal, then you will love this book. The latest cookbook I read was, ’Vegetarian Quick & Easy – Under 15 Minutes’ by Jonathan Vine. This book includes 100 Simple Natural Foods Recipes.

The recipes inside the book are really simple and require fewer ingredients. Interestingly, all the recipes are quick to prepare, as the name suggests, those are under 15 minutes recipes.
Inside the book, within the first few chapters the author describes about vegetarian diet and its advantages using a lot of information. After that, he shares the recipes in few categories. Below are the categories found in this book.
-Vegetarian Easy and Quick Recipes for Busy Mums
-Quick and Easy Recipes for Romantic Meals
-Quick and Easy Recipes That Even Kids Can Make
-Easy and Quick Recipes for Parties
When I was going through the book, I really attracted to the both sections of Romantic meals and party recipes. I could find many new vegetarian recipe ideas which I never thought of for a party or a special meal.
Arrangements of recipes are well organized. He has used a different colour for the topics of each category .For example, all the recipes under romantic meal category use the colour red for the topic. I found in that way it is easy to identify the occasion if we browse the book to find a recipe quickly.
I found a good collection of tofu recipes inside this book which I am really happy with. Recently, I started to cook tofu but still I don’t have a recipe collection with tofu, so I will definitely use these recipes to try.
Anyway, another noted thing is that this book contains some egg recipes. So far my thinking was that eggs are in the category of non-veg. So, it is something to note in this review.
Though I am not a complete vegetarian, I will use most of these recipes to my daily meal. Have a look in to this eBook, it is not very expensive and worth for the price you pay.

I’m not a vegetarian either but balance it in between our regular meals. We go meatless once a week, thus the book will be good for me.
