Sausage Stir fry – Sri Lankan style Recipe

written by Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi December 18, 2019
Sausage Stir fry

Sausage stir fry is another popular dish in Sri Lanka due to its taste and easy preparation. Sausages are quick to cook in any recipe. There is no much preparation other than wash and slice. Therefore I cook this stir fry and some other sausage recipes when I want to prepare a quick meal.

Although this sausage stir fry is a well-known Sri Lankan recipe, I want to share it here in case if someone looks for it.

Tips to cook Sausage Stir Fry

Below are some cooking tips for you to cook a delicious sausage dish.

  • Be sure to adjust chili and other ingredients as per your taste.
  • You have to be quick when you fry sausages.Sausages are easily get burnt.
  • You can also add banana peppers (Malu Miris) to this stir fry to make it more flavourful and spicy. I didn’t add as I cook for the family including my kid.
  • Instead of chicken sausages, you can use chicken franks too.

I wish I knew where to find those leaves… I think I have everything else…

Reply
Amila Gamage Wickramarachchi December 27, 2019 - 7:31 am

Actually you don’t use any leaves as main ingredient for this recipe. 🙂 It is a sausage stir fry.Curry leaves and pandan leaf are for adding fragrance and flavour, but you can omit it.
