How to make Chicken Tikka?
Basically, to make chicken tikka, chicken cubes are marinated in a mix of yogurt and spices. If you are in Sri Lanka, here yogurt means ‘curd’, not the typical ‘yogurt’ you find in Sri Lankan groceries. But, outside Sri Lanka it is easier to buy natural curd/yogurt to prepare this chicken tikka, Indian dish.
Don’t forget to squeeze lemon juice to marinating and it is better if you marinate chicken at least 30 minutes to 2 hours. Yogurt makes the chicken tender, juicy and soft, which is the secret of delicious Chicken Tikka.
