Recipe: Sri Lankan Patties (Curry puff)

Ingredients for dough:

4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/2 cup margarine/butter
1 1/4 cups cold water, or as needed

In a medium bowl, stir together the flour and salt.
Add margarine into the flour & mix, until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
Add water a few tablespoons at a time, until the mixture forms a dough & not sticky.
Then wrap the dough  in a plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour.

Then make the filling. There many options for this.
For the filling pl refer the recipe of vegitable roti or Cutlets

Now make the patties. Dust some flour on a board and roll out the dough to about 1/8 inch thickness.
